I appreciate you comment and your eye for detail. It is a variety of media... mainly sharpie. A lot of "Dry Marker" technique is applied and I place textures beneath the art and marker over certain areas. This achieves the detailed lines and visual textures.As you can see, I haven't cleaned up the background completely(Whoops). I scan my work into the computer to clean it up using an eraser, pad and stylus.
A creature of mine. 95% Sharpie. For the background I cut out the rectangle and backed the opening with yellow construction paper for design and texture.

Yep, it's sharpie. There's other stuff, but sharpie is the tool mainly used. Are you suggesting I'm fibbing...LOL! J.K.
